A Former Royal Residence

Established in 1782 following the ascension to the throne by King Rama I, the palace complex was also home to administrative offices; it became the official residency of the Thai monarchy till 1932.

The Grand Palace can be found in the heart of the city beside the Chao Phraya River. Around a 20-minute drive from Citadines Sukhumvit 11 Bangkok, the site is open daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
